Adidas and Kanye West continue with a nuanced approach to reimagining core Yeezy footwear as they apply subtle tweaks to the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 to differentiate the model from its predecessor. Unlike the original design that used a mixture of suede and leather on its upper, the 700 V2 employs a full suede construction on its overlays. Luxe light grey suede with a blueish tint covers the mid-panel, toe, lateral panel, and heel. A matching shade of mesh comprises the base of the design underneath the suede overlays.
